Prosthetic & Orthotic Technician Program

Our Prosthetic & Orthotic Technician (P&O Technician) program offers comprehensive education for individuals new to the P&O profession. This course is designed for employees of prosthetic and orthotic clinics and companies who are interested in gaining the skills necessary to support the P&O production process.

As non-clinicians, Prosthetic & Orthotic Technicians work closely with Prosthetists/Orthotists, contributing to the fabrication of limbs and braces, but without direct patient interaction. Technicians play an essential role in the P&O workflow, ensuring smooth and efficient production.

For students, this program represents the entry level to the P&O profession, providing the ideal foundation for pursuing Associate Prosthetist/Orthotist level education in the future. For P&O service providers, this program offers an excellent opportunity to expand your workforce with skilled, trained technicians.
